Rupee Makes a Weak Start, Slips 6 Paise against Dollar

Rupee decreased in value to 67.82 by 6 paise in opposition to the U.S. dollar at the inter-bank foreign exchange in early trade due to amplified requirement from importers for the American unit in the middle of foreign fund outflows.

Traders recognized the drop in rupee to augmented requirement for the U.S. currency and inferior opening of the local equity market. However, the dollar has limitation and disadvantage adjacent to some currencies abroad. This is due to towering dilemma between China and the U.S. which resulted in calculated losses.

Giving a tough improvement, on Friday the rupee had achieved 7 paise to finish at 67.76 in opposition to the U.S. dollar. In the meantime, the standard BSE Sensex knocked down to 26,408.74 by 0.31% or 80.82 points in the early hours of trade.
